Terms and Conditions of Coaching – 2013

Group Lessons

New enrolments as well as re-enrolments will be available on-line on our website www.awtennis.com.au. If for whatever reason you are not able to book online please contact us on 0421 821 920 and we will assist you with enrolment.

Private Lessons

Once you have organised day and time with us, an $80 deposit is required in order for the booking to be confirmed. You can make this deposit via any of the payment methods described below. The balance of your Term Fee is payable by the first week of the term. Where family or special discounts have been granted, these will only apply when the account is paid in full by the due date.

Referral Program

Receive a $20 voucher for every NEW customer that you refer to the Atilio Waltcheff Tennis School, who enrols and pays for a term of lessons. The new customer needs to indicate upon enrolment your name as the referee.

All Vouchers will have a 6-month expiry date with no exceptions.

Payment Methods

All payments can be made by cash, cheque made to Atilio Waltcheff Tennis School or via Internet Banking. If you select the last option, our account details are: ACC NAME: Atilio Waltcheff – BSB: 242200 – ACC 4301 80570. Please write the student or family name in the ‘reference’ field so that we can identify your payment.

Missed/Cancelled Lessons

Group Lessons

Atilio Waltcheff Tennis School will endeavour to provide a maximum of 2 make-up sessions per term for programs’ (group lessons) missed due to travel, illness or injury or cancelled in accordance to AW Tennis School weather policy. Students/parents must notify AW Tennis School on 0421 821 920 at least 24 hours prior to the lesson in order for a make-up lesson to be booked. In case of lessons cancelled due to inclement weather, AWTS will schedule make up lessons in week 10 of the term (AWTS Coaching Term is 9 weeks), and into the school holidays if deemed necessary by AWTS. All lessons to be made up within the corresponding term.

Private lessons

AW Tennis School will re-schedule private lessons providing students give AWTS at least 24 hours notice of unavailability due to travel, illness or injury. Fees will apply if a student fails to give 24 hours notice. Please call our office phone on 0421 821 920 if you need to re-schedule a private lesson.

Weather Policy

Hot weather

• Morning lessons will be automatically cancelled if, on the morning of your lesson, the maximum forecasted temperature is 40 degrees or more. Otherwise, lessons will go ahead and no make-ups will be granted if lesson is not attended.
• Afternoon/evening lessons will be automatically cancelled if, on the morning of your lesson, the maximum forecasted temperature is 38 degrees or more. Otherwise, lessons will go ahead and no make-ups will be granted if lesson is not attended.
• In hot weather, students are expected to attend their lessons with a hat and a drink bottle for their own safety and wellbeing.

Wet weather

AW Tennis School will make every reasonable effort to conduct your lesson safely and timely. Only if AWTS Staff judge that courts are unplayable at the time of your lesson, this will be cancelled and made-up. Please do not assume a lesson is ‘off’ due to rain. If courts are playable at the time, the coaching will go ahead and no make-up will be awarded for these lessons when the student does not attend.
